About Us
We're helping to empower girls in STEAM.
Seeds of STEAM aims to bridge the gender gap in STEAM fields by offering free science, technology, engineering, arts and math classes to girls in middle school (grades 5-8). Join us in creating a safe space for girls to earn a head-start in STEAM!
Our Story
We are a group of students in Oakville, Ontario who are passionate about STEAM. We found out that the gender disproportion in STEAM-related fields is greatly attributed to the lack of early STEAM education for girls. To combat the gender stereotypes, we are committed to provide free and interesting courses to younger girls. Through our program, we hope to bring out the fun and exciting aspects of STEAM, and encourage our students to explore their interests.
